Strategy, Reporting, Frameworks (GRI)

For the past eight years, BuzzWord has served as JPMorgan Chase’s corporate responsibility and ESG reporting strategy and content partner. We helped the company transition to a two-pronged reporting approach designed to provide different stakeholders with information tailored to meet their needs, in formats that are engaging and accessible for their purposes. The company’s annual ESG Report provides clear, concise information on the ESG issues that JPMorgan Chase and its stakeholders view as among the most important to its business. The company’s 2019 ESG Report was, for the first time, informed by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards, and it continues to be developed in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative's Standards. JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Responsibility reporting focuses on how the company is leveraging its philanthropic and investment capital – along with its expertise – to expand economic opportunity in communities around the world. The company uses a variety of print and digital formats and a lively, magazine-style approach to communicate about its efforts while featuring human interest stories, outside perspectives and op-ed pieces from leaders within the firm.
